How to do it, step by step
Open AIM Image
Open the app in your desktop browser. No account needed.
Open the HEIC photo
File › Open… and pick the .heic or .heif photo (or drag it onto the window).
Touch it up if you like
Crop, straighten or adjust the colour before saving; it's optional.
Save it as JPG
File › Export › Export As… and choose JPEG (or PNG or WebP). The download is your converted photo.

JPG compresses; you choose the quality when exporting. If you need to keep everything, save as PNG.
