Open the layout
File › Open… and pick the .idml, .indd or .indt. It opens with its pages, text frames and images.
Review and edit
Fix text, move elements or swap images; if a font is missing, it tells you.
Export or save
Export to print-ready or interactive PDF, or save as IDML to send it back.

Questions about AIM Design
What's the difference between IDML and INDD?
IDML is the XML interchange format; INDD is the working format. AIM Design opens both, and INDT templates too.
Can I save as INDD?
It saves as IDML (which other layout programs can open again), as PDF and in its own format.
What about very large files?
They're read in chunks in your browser; one of 187 MB with 12 pages and 53 images opens in about 30 seconds in our tests.
